The day we spent with Yoyo's Pure Toyama Tours was the highlight of our trip. We had a great day exploring Toyama with Yasuyo! She took us to so many beautiful places and shared the history of each unique place. We were grateful to be able to ask questions with her English language skills. We stopped by Toyama because it’s close to Kanazawa — and were amazed to learn it was selected by The New York Times as a must-visit hidden gem.

Toyama is also known as a “sushi city,” and we enjoyed incredibly fresh sushi at much lower prices than the tourist-oriented restaurants in Kanazawa.

We’d love to come back in another season and explore Toyama and Kanazawa again with Yasuyo.

My wife and I had a wonderful tour with Yasuyo in December 2024.

Yasuyo customized the tour in the way we asked, which was half activities and half dinner.

We had a wonderful time getting to know Toyama better than if we did the tour on our own.

We had a wonderful dinner with traditional cuisine. Overall, we would recommend Yasuyo as your guide.
